According to the Chinese Zodiac, each year of a twelve-year cycle is associated with an animal. It is believed that your character and personality will reflect certain traits of the animal under which you were born.
The artist, Clifton Karhu, who was the best-selling woodblock print artist in Japan during his lifetime, created these humorous images of the zodiac animals with the corresponding years. The prints were received directly from the artist as New Year greetings.
